It actually says

Dutton GT 40 on the V5c

So it is infact correctly registered

Cant quite get my head around the valuation or what the history of the car would be.

Interesting though

Andrew

It was possible a few years ago, just before the SVA came out, to register any unfinished kitcar in any way you liked with in the rules of the day of course, i took advantage of this to register my special currently sat in my spare garage. which has not had a spanner laid on it since 1999 at least. If he was building a car that was uncertain in origin or it was a scraped/modified dutton chassis it would have been simple to register it as a GT40 dutton. on the other hand he may have had a dutton and renamed it a GT40 dutton in anticipation of building the "new" car.
Legerra 2.0L pinto (currentcar)
