Hi tom good to see the improvements to the front of the Malaga B+, had you checked the geometry of the front suspension before you rebuilt it? (Castor and Camber) was it OK?
Does the new pedal box give more room for Alexa's feet?
My thumb is healing very well if a little slowly, i am due to go back to work 22/11/10 A total of 11 weeks of sick with no pay, (only government allowance (SSP)) at about £83/week so our finances have taken a bit of a beating, i may now not be able to afford the trip in May for your "Treffen" but Sandra and i still intend to come over later in the year finances permitting. We will have to see how the new year goes for putting savings back into the bank.
Dave.

Hi Dave,

the front axle I have completely overhauled. New shock absorbers (Spax, height adjustable and pressure levels), new springs.
All assembly parts sand blasted, primed and painted again, supplied with new grease.
I unfortunately bought the wrong bike stock. Had implemented only once the old ones. The brake pads were the wrong ones. The original Spitfire pads are smaller. Now I have no idea what brake pads and the wheel bearings were installed. On the front axle of the Malaga, everything seems to be something bigger.
The suspension geometry I will still be measured and optimized.
The pedal box is in contrast to the old and much better precision flying and maneuverability.
Try the car for Alexa finishers mass.
This seems to me to be successful. The rear seat upholstery is twice as thick as the passenger. So that we can replace the pad.

 a big s*** with your thumb. I hope it healing very fast.
I'll keep my fingers crossed it all comes back quickly in order.
In Germany there is a little better with the health insurance.
The reward is paid for 6 months. Only after the 6 month the insurance takes in effect.

I stay at Alexa to 10/14/2010. and then fly back to Moers.
Would be very happy if you could get in touch again with SCYPE. "Look for wirbelwind2969" We are usually in the evening always online.

so we can speak more.

the best wishes

Tom

Hi Tom I have been very busy getting my Quantum 2+2 on the road, it has been a bit of a trial. The engine has been in and out 3 times this last week trying to chase a fault that was a combination of clutch/gear box. However it is now legal for the road again and my Dutton is in the garage to strip down and do some of what you have been doing to Alexa's car. Also i will have more time to Skype you sometime this week. Dave.

Tom, you are giving me a very high target for the restoration of my own car! I had thought a quick lick of paint and some new suspension on the front of the car would be fine, however i can see now that would not be the case any more.
I have made sure that Skype is on my PC but it does not seem to stay "on" all the time, some of the settings need to be changed i think.

Stunning work there Tom! Your attention to detail is, as always, fantastic. Making me think that I should top coat my chassis, in a colour other than black. Have you done any work to the foot wells and pedal box area? If so, can we see some more pics. :D

Cheers, Paul.

Hello Paul,

Hi Paul,

here are some photos to the pedal box are.

Thank you, that you like my work. I love details about everything.

The more complicated the better.

The quality is very much on the machines which have been dependent.

To found a financially acceptable solution , sometimes very time consuming.

I see something more from the artistic side.

People see more details. It like your eyes.

Hello Dave,
i have made the pedal box by my self. A new construction! Without plans....... The vehicle matched

The master cylinder is new and comes from an Audi A8.

The connection from the master cylinder to the brake pedal is from a mines train.

Have only the brake pedal and the clutch pedal from the old box taken.

But maybe I will build these new pedals?

greetings
Tom

Ps. Sandra also
