Postby guymadgwick » Mon Apr 06, 2015 8:30 am

Hi
Wonder if you can help me I have a 1978 Phaeton S1 which has been off the road for several years - now almost finish the over haul . The SI has std Triumph Spitfire front end and Ford old English axle back end. The front hubs have been converted to Ford spacing otherwise standard front end set up, the tyres are 15" 205/35 all round.
What is the front end toe, camber set up and what is the best tyre pressure?
Thanks for any help

Hello Guy
These figures are desirable ..........
Camber :- 0.75° to 1.25°(Negative)
Castor :- 8° to 10°
Toe in 1 mm

i would concur but i have found that 0.5mm toe in is better, my castor has been set at 5 degrees it handles very well (make sure the tyre pressures are right ....you only need about 18psi....
