Melos Spare Wheel

I'm a newbie Duttoneer & so this might be a daft question for you seasoned types! Ive noticed in Dutton Torque that quite a few Melos's have a spare hanging off the boot. Is there a kit or similar to achieve this? If not which is the best bodge?

buy a can of holts tyre weld and a small tyre compressor and they fit in the boot with no modifications at all! and much cheaper.

The spare on my Melos sits on top of the rear section. It's got to go as it completely blocks the view in the rear view mirror. I plan to ditch the rear seats and use the room for the spare.

mine has a cut out for the tyre to fit into and a pice of fibreglass behind it. this must have been an optional extra. however punctures are such a rare occurance i wouldnt bother if it wasnt already fitted myself.
